Clothes make the man
American author, Mark Twain, was reputed to have said, “Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society.” As much as we love the naked male form, we have to agree. There’s nothing like a well-dressed man. Of course, much of it has to do with the man’s attitude and the way he wears his clothes. It also depends on what he wears: like PVC clothing.
But what exactly is PVC? Without getting technical, PVC is a form of vinyl. It’s a versatile material used to make almost anything, in any color and any style. Designers like Jean Paul Gaultier and Yves Saint Lauren have used PVC in their collections, bringing the fetish into fashion. Remember the late Dame Diana Rigg? Before she was Olenna Tyrell on Game of Thrones, she was Emma Peel in the hit ‘60s show, The Avengers. The PVC suit, created just for her, helped brand Dame Rigg as a fashion icon and sex symbol.
For most of us, PVC is about fetish wear, like those who enjoy slipping into rubber or neoprene. But it’s about more than sex. It’s about looking good and loving the way you feel in your skin. And because you should walk tall and proud when wearing PVC, it’ll give you a boost of confidence.
If you already wear PVC clothing, like our Tracksuit Pants from the PVC Collection, you already know how they fit and feel. Almost every Mr. Riegillio customer says the same thing about our PVC collection: I love my new (whatever they’ve purchased)! I love the rustling when I walk and how shiny it is!
For those of you who have never worn PVC clothing or are on the fence, we encourage you to look through our website. Find a piece you like, and when you get it delivered, see how it fits. Notice the way it makes you feel. Our Mr. Riegillio collection turns heads and makes a bold statement. It says: I’m here! It also makes you stand out in a crowd. And when you go out? They won’t be able to keep their hands to themselves.
