Pride Flag - Demisexual - 90 x 150 cm
The Demisexual Pride Flag, created by an anonymous user on Tumblr in 2010, features three horizontal stripes:
- Black stripe representing asexuality
- Gray stripe symbolizing gray-asexuality and demisexuality
- White stripe signifying sexuality.
- Purple represents community, because the AVEN (Asexual Visibility and Education Network) website had a purple colour scheme
The flag aims to provide visibility and representation for individuals who experience sexual attraction only after forming a strong emotional bond. It serves as a symbol of pride, acceptance, and recognition within the LGBTQ+ community, emphasizing the diversity of sexual orientations and promoting inclusivity.
